Hamilton Global Specialty boosts environmental insurance offering

Hamilton Global Specialty has appointed Todd LaBandt as senior vice president, environmental insurance at Hamilton Americas, its US managing agency. 

LaBandt, a 20-year veteran of environmental insurance, will report to Pepe Marquez, President, Hamilton Americas, which is a subsidiary of Bermuda-based Hamilton Insurance Group. 

Hamilton Global Specialty CEO Adrian Daws said: “I’m delighted to welcome Todd to our team. His comprehensive experience with risk assessment and underwriting a full range of environmental insurance products will be distinct advantages as we continue to develop our US environmental product offering.”

LaBandt joins Hamilton following almost 14 years at Westchester, a Chubb company, where he most recently served as vice president and chief underwriting officer of environmental for the past eight years.
