Everest names Pamela Sinclair as HR chief

Bermuda-based Everest Group has appointed Pamela Sinclair (pictured) as executive vice president and chief human resources officer, succeeding Gail Van Beveren.

Effective July 14, Sinclair will report to Everest president and CEO Jim Williamson and join the firm’s executive leadership team, with a mandate to align talent strategy with business objectives.

Sinclair succeeds Gail Van Beveren, who will retire having served Everest since 1986.

Sinclair, with three decades of experience, most recently served as global head of human resources at PGIM. Prior to that, she was senior HR business partner for global markets at Barclays Capital.

“Pam is an exceptional HR leader with a track record of optimising and aligning human capital strategies with business objectives,” said Williamson. “Her broad, global experience will be integral to supporting the world-class talent who drive Everest’s high-performing, people-first culture and deliver on our value creation strategy.

“At the same time, we thank Gail for her outstanding contributions and commitment to Everest over the past 39 years, and wish her the best in her retirement," Williamson concluded.
