Everest Group forms broker management team
Everest Group has established a global broker management team designed to focus on the company's broker relationships.
The Bermuda-based re/insurer has appointed Anthony Izzo as Chief Global Broking Officer to lead the initiative. He will continue to be Head of Global Facultative & Distribution for Everest Reinsurance, overseeing Everest’s key global relationships across the Company’s Insurance and Reinsurance organizations.
Reporting to Jim Williamson, Izzo will also report to Mike Karmilowicz, Chairman, Global Insurance, who is working to create a framework for global broker engagement.
Everest said it has also appointed a leadership team dedicated to cultivating and fostering strong broker partnerships, reporting to Izzo. Rob Clark, Joe Stuhl, and Mark Shaw have been named Global Broker Account Leads. Nicole Mazer has been named Global Broker Performance Manager, who will partner with each of the Global Account Leads focused on optimizing the Company’s customer relationship management initiatives.

Everest Insurance has also appointed Brian Zink to be Senior Vice President, Head of Everest Specialty Underwriters (ESU) and US Financial Lines, reporting to Bill Hazelton, Executive Vice President of Everest Insurance® and President of North America Insurance.
Zink succeeds Clark in the role following his move to the global broker management team.

Zink joins Everest from Zurich where he was Head of Financial Lines for the company’s US National Accounts, also serving in various leadership roles including Head of Management Liability domestically. Prior to that, he held a variety of financial lines leadership positions with Beazley Group and The Hartford.
