Convex named as top ten place to work
Bermuda-based Convex Insurance has been named as one of the top ten best big companies to work in the United Kingdom.
Convex, founded by insurance industry legends Stephen Catlin and Paul Brand in 2019, joined companies including restaurant group Dishoom, hotel chain Dorchester Group and legal services group Clarion, in the list of ten high flyers among big companies.
The list was compiled by The Sunday Times, one of Britain’s best-selling newspapers, and divided companies into “very big”, “big”, “medium” and “small”.
“This international speciality insurer and reinsurer has its staff covered with policies that include agile working, generous annual leave and a £1,300 annual budget to spend on learning and wellbeing,” the newspaper said of Convex.
“The London company, which makes our top ten of big organisations, has offices in Bermuda, Luxembourg and Guernsey, and employs 436 people. It holds an annual summer festival for workers and their families and an annual Dream Pitch where Convexians, as staff are known, can win the time, money or resources (or all three) to achieve a personal goal.”
