Aon appoints veteran to head Bermuda reinsurance operations

Aon has promoted Amanda Lyons (pictured) to CEO of Aon Reinsurance Solutions in Bermuda.

She will take on the role on July 1, pending regulatory and immigration approvals.

Lyons will lead the growth of Aon’s Bermuda reinsurance platform, building on recent hires to strengthen solutions, resources and talent. She will also continue as global product leader for Reinsurance Solutions.

She joined Aon in 2008 as a broker, later becoming US casualty strategic growth leader and, most recently, global placement leader.
