Maiden Holdings has appointed Patrick Haveron as co-chief executive officer, alongside Lawrence Metz.
Haveron remains chief financial officer, in addition to his new role.
Barry Zyskind, the chairman of Maiden’s board of directors, said: “Since our leadership changes in the third quarter of 2018, [Haveron] and [Metz] have worked closely and in partnership to stabilise Maiden’s balance sheet, strengthen our capital and solvency position and to work to return Maiden to profitability. Today’s announcement recognises the significant contributions that [Haveron] has made, not only since that time but over the course of his career at Maiden.”
