Willis welcomes new Bermuda CEO

Willis Re hosted a cocktail party last week to welcome Michael Harden, the new CEO of Willis Re Bermuda, to the Island.

Guests of honour included the Hon. L. Craig Cannonier, JP, MP, along with the Minister of Home Affairs, Senator the Hon. Michael M. Fahy and  the Minister of Education and Economic Development, Dr. the Hon. E. G. Grant Gibbons JP, MP. Much of Willis Group’s top brass was also in attendance.

John Cavanagh, CEO of Willis Re, said: “it’s always a pleasure to come to Bermuda. The island is incredibly important to Willis, particularly to our reinsurance operations. As such we are continually investing in our business here, and tonight’s party to introduce Michael Harden as the new CEO of Willis Re Bermuda represents another investment by Willis in Bermuda and further demonstrates our commitment to the island.”
