Validus Re hires senior underwriter

Florian Lutz joins Validus Re, Switzerland as a senior vice president and senior underwriter. He has 20 years of experience in both property and speciality lines.

Lutz worked most recently with Axis Re in Zurich.

Kean Driscoll, chief executive officer at Validus Re, said: “we welcome Florian to the Validus Reinsurance underwriting team. During his career, Florian has operated as both broker and underwriter in various European markets which will prove invaluable to the company as we build out the new platform.”
