Third Point Re appoints board members

Third Point Re has announced the appointment of three new board members, Mark Parkin, Neil McConachie and Rafe de la Gueronniere.

Parkin’s background is in accounting, having worked for 37 years at Deloitte. McConachie worked previously for Lancashire Group and Montpelier Re. While la Gueronniere is managing director and co-founder of New Providence Asset Management.

The move follows Third Point Re's recent IPO.
