Endurance has brought in 30-year insurance veteran, Sophia Phillips, who has been responsible for the successful launch of marine insurance units at several national carriers, to establish a new inland marine insurance unit. Phillips will come into the company as a senior vice president.
According to Endurance, the new business unit will work with producers across the US, initially from Endurance’s Chicago office with additional underwriting centres planned in other major cities.
