Vantage has appointed Tim Nunziata (pictured) as head of cyber insurance and global product leader, bringing the former Nationwide cyber executive into the role as the specialty insurer strengthens its global cyber business.
Nunziata joins Vantage from Nationwide, where he spent more than 15 years, most recently as vice president, head of cyber risk and commercial E&O. He will report to Alex Blanco, chief executive, insurance, and join Vantage’s Insurance Leadership team.
In his new role, Nunziata will oversee Vantage’s global cyber product strategy, underwriting guidelines and portfolio performance, including annual planning, risk appetite and pricing approach.
He will work with claims, actuarial, data and analytics teams to drive profitable growth and disciplined underwriting.
Before joining Nationwide, Nunziata was a senior underwriter at The Navigators Group and an executive underwriter at The Hartford Financial Products.
Blanco said: “Tim is one of the most respected underwriters in the cyber market, with a track record of building disciplined teams, profitable portfolios, and strong broker relationships. As we continue to grow our cyber franchise, his experience and leadership will be invaluable.”
Nunziata said: “I'm excited to join Vantage at a pivotal moment for the cyber market. What drew me to Vantage is its culture of curiosity and its commitment to using data and technology to underwrite risk differently. I look forward to continuing to build a market-leading cyber franchise alongside Alex and the team.”
