Executive promotions in ACE’s personal lines

ACE has made a number of executive appointments in its high net worth personal lines insurance business, ACE Private Risk Services.

Annmarie Camp has been appointed senior vice president, national sales and distribution leader, Shannon Detroit as vice president, central region, and Heather Cabra as vice president, southern region.

Based in New Jersey, Camp will report to Mary Boyd, division president of ACE Private Risk Services, and will be responsible for overseeing the US distribution of the division’s products and services, including specialised home, auto, watercraft, valuable collections, and umbrella liability insurance through a national network of independent agents and brokers. Camp will also continue in her role as Group umbrella practice leader.

Boyd says: “I am delighted to have Annmarie assume this broader role within ACE Private Risk Services. Given Annmarie’s experience and demonstrated results across the Northeastern and the Southern regions as well as her expanded presence countrywide through the Group Umbrella Program, we are fully confident in her ability to be very successful in this important national leadership role.”

Detroit and Cabra will also report directly to Camp, and will oversee the local field marketing, underwriting, claims, risk consulting, and agency services teams in ACE Private Risk Services’ central and southern regions, respectively.

Detroit joined ACE Private Risk Services in 2010 as territory manager for Washington and Oregon. In March of 2013, he relocated to Texas and assumed the role of distribution leader to one of their largest and most complex states. Cabra joins ACE from a global personal lines carrier, where she spent more than 20 years in a variety of senior regional management and distribution leadership roles, including serving as vice president of a US-based personal lines carrier with broad senior management responsibilities.

Boyd says: “Heather brings extensive distribution and management experience to ACE, along with a strong combination of strategic and tactical execution capabilities. She is well-known and respected throughout the region, and we are very excited that she will be assuming this important role. We are also excited to see Shannon promoted to vice president for our central region. Since joining the ACE team in 2010, he has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the high net worth personal insurance marketplace that will contribute greatly to our continued success in the central region.”
