AXA XL appoints new head of healthcare on Bermuda

AXA XL has appointed Shellé Hendrickson as head of healthcare in its Bermuda Insurance business. She succeeds Vivienne Moniz who was recently promoted to head of excess casualty, Bermuda.

In her new role, Hendrickson will be responsible for developing, implementing and driving strategies of the healthcare underwriting unit.

Hendrickson has 13 years of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in casualty, life science and healthcare underwriting. She joined XL Insurance (Bermuda), now XL Bermuda, in 2013 as assistant vice president and has taken on progressively senior roles including most recently as vice president, excess casualty underwriter.
