Sompo promotes Muzii to be head of Asian Risk Solutions

Sompo International has promoted Rennie Muzii (pictured) to be executive vice president and head of Asian Risk Solutions. 

Bermuda-based Sompo said: “Rennie has a proven track record of successfully engaging with and delivering meaningful solutions for Sompo clients, and his innovative and strategic customer-first mindset will be key to this role which will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships within the ARS customer segment.”

Muzii has been with Sompo since 2013 and was senior vice president for professional lines, based in Portland, Oregon. 

He was previously a managing director at Marsh USA, where he worked from 2002 to 2013. Prior to that, he was at National Union/AIG, where he was a divisional vice president.
