Sompo opens Manchester office

Bermuda-based Sompo’s UK operation has opened a new office in Manchester which will act as a hub for its business in the north of the UK. 

The re/insurer said it already has offices in London and Birmingham. 

Bob Thaker, CEO, commercial P&C insurance, Sompo, UK said: “I am delighted we now have a base in Manchester. 

“The launch of this important regional hub will enable us to work even more closely with our clients and broker partners in the north of the UK as we continue to execute our UK commercial lines growth plans outside the London market.”

Sompo’s Manchester address is: 10th floor, 3 Hardman Street, Spinningfields, Manchester M3 3HF.
