TigerRisk strengthens Bermuda reinsurance and retro teams

Christopher Conway has joined TigerRisk Partners, a risk, capital and strategic advisor to the re/insurance industries, to work on its Bermuda reinsurance and retro teams.

Conway joins from Neon Underwriting Bermuda where he was senior vice president, helping build a startup reinsurance portfolio of property cat, per risk and retrocession business.

He has also worked at AXIS Re, where he worked his way up from senior modeling analyst to assistant vice president of underwriting, and Third Point Re, where he was underwriter and head of risk analytics. He has also held senior underwriting roles at AQR Re and Ascot Underwriting Bermuda.

Conway reports to Alex Bridges, partner and head of retrocession at TigerRisk.

Bridges said Conway’s “broad background, technical expertise and extensive knowledge of the market will be a great asset to our clients, both on the reinsurance and retro sides of the business.”

Conway said he has long watched and respected TigerRisk, especially its “creativity and drive to find unique solutions for their clients.”
