Smith returns to Endurance as CEO of ARMtech

Michael Smith will be re-joining Endurance Specialty Holdings as CEO of ARMtech Insurance Services, a wholly-owned Endurance subsidiary writing crop insurance, effective immediately.

Smith played an active role in the formation of ARMtech, which offers livestock and crop risk management products and led the design and development of AgriNet, the company’s technology platform.

Smith will be succeeding Ted Etheredge, who will be retiring from the company. Jack Kuhn, CEO of Global Insurance for Endurance, commented: “we are very pleased to have Michael return to Endurance given his long tenure in the crop insurance industry and his exceptional knowledge of ARMtech’s operations as well as our extensive agent network.
