Former Aspen CRO moves to UK specialist intermediary
Bermuda-based Aspen Insurance Group’s former chief risk officer Robert Moorehead-Lane has moved to speciality re/insurance broking business Aventum Group.
Robert Moorehead-Lane has joined Aventum as its first group chief risk officer.
Moorehead-Lane has 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry, most recently as chief risk officer at Aspen Insurance Group. His experience also includes positions at Grant Thornton, Assurant, and KPMG where he built extensive expertise in risk strategy and framework development, strategic transformation, regulatory policy making, solvency and risk-based capital solutions.
As group CRO at Aventum, Moorehead-Lane will help strengthen resilience with a robust risk framework, strong governance, and oversight as the organisation evolves.
