Everest Insurance has partnered with insurance brokerage Embroker to provide a new online lawyers’ professional liability programme for law firms with up to ten employed attorneys.
It complements Everest’s existing lawyers’ professional liability offering, which is targeted at larger firms.
The lawyers’ professional liability policy is currently available in 31 US states, with Everest looking to expand its availability later this year.
Brian Drum, senior vice president and head of Everest Underwriting Partners, said the partnership makes use of Embroker’s “expertise and unique digitisation capabilities in the marketplace,” and improve the insurance-buying experience for smaller clients.
Everest said the new programme reflects its commitment to expanding its business in specific target markets.
Matt Miller, Embroker’s chief executive officer, said the partnership allows the brokerage “to streamline all aspects of the insurance buying process,” while helping clients manage their risk.
