BMA registers seven new re/insurance entities in October

The Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) registered seven new re/insurance entities in October.

Six special purpose insurers (SPI) were registered with the BMA in October, including Oaktown Re V, La Vie Re, Phoenician Re, SIG (ISA)-2, Bellemeade Re 2020-3 and Four Lakes Re.

Vantage Risk, a class four re/insurer underwriting direct excess liability insurance and/or property catastrophe reinsurance risks, also registered in Bermuda.

It takes the total number of new re/insurance entity registrations in Bermuda for the year to the end of October to 51, 24 of which are SPIs.
