Aspen enters three sponsorship partnerships to promote diversity and inclusion

Aspen Insurance Holdings has entered into three sponsor partnerships as part of its commitment to increasing and promoting cultural awareness, diversity and inclusion across its business.

Aspen is partnering with the Insurance Cultural Awareness Network (iCAN); the LGBT Insurance Network (Link); and the Gender Inclusion Network (GIN).

iCAN is an industry-wide independent network for multicultural inclusion across the insurance sector. It will help Aspen in its recruitment efforts and provide employees with networking opportunities and bespoke mentoring programmes.

Link is a professional network for insurance professionals who are members of the LGBT+ community and will help Aspen attract and retain more LGBT+ talent.

GIN promotes gender diversity and inclusion and will work with Aspen to advance gender parity and encourage collaboration across gender networks.

Mark Cloutier, Aspen’s chief executive officer and chairman, called the three groups “forward-thinking and dynamic organisations working to improve cultural awareness and diversity and inclusion on an industry level.”

He added: “It is of vital importance that Aspen supports and collaborates with these networks in order to accelerate action and drive positive change across our business and the market.”
