Chubb Bermuda has promoted David Jenkins to senior vice president, head of Bermuda property, as it looks to grow and strengthen its excess property business.
Jenkins was previously SVP for property underwriting.
The Bermuda-based insurer said Jenkins will oversee all property underwriters in the region and will be tasked with driving the growth and profitability of Chubb Bermuda’s excess property business, the company said.
He will report to Robert Rebellato, senior vice president, head of excess property, Chubb Bermuda.
“David’s deep expertise and leadership has been instrumental in strengthening our excess property business,” said Rebellato. “As we celebrate 30 years of Chubb Bermuda Property this spring, David is the ideal candidate to enhance our underwriting capabilities, deliver innovative solutions and ensure long-term stability for our clients in an evolving risk landscape.”
Jenkins joined Chubb in 2002 and has 30 years of experience in the US, UK and Bermuda insurance markets. In his prior role as senior vice president, property underwriting, he was responsible for writing general property business and specialty lines.
