Axa XL has appointed former AIG executive Liz Rychling to support the expansion of its Americas platform, with a mandate to strengthen broker relationships and enhance its large commercial and mid-market offering.
Rychling has been appointed head of broker relations for large commercial and mid-market in Axa XL’s Americas business.
Based in New York, she will lead broker engagement and distribution strategy across the region, working closely with internal teams to sharpen productivity, service quality and performance. She reports to Matt O’Malley, chief client and distribution officer for Axa XL in the Americas.
Rychling brings more than 25 years of experience spanning risk management, insurance, law and strategy. She joins from MGM Resorts International, where she was senior vice president of risk management, and has previously held senior roles at AIG, El Ad Group and Las Vegas Sands Corp. She began her career in insurance defence law.
O’Malley said, “Liz brings a unique perspective with hands-on experience across various areas of the insurance industry, including as a client.
