Aspen appoints Jon Kattman head of inland marine

Bermuda-based insurer Aspen has appointed Jon Kattman (pictured) as head of inland marine, promoting him from within its own ranks.

Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Kattman will oversee the Aspen inland marine underwriting strategy and risk management capabilities.

Kattman, who joined Aspen in 2017, has more than 14 years of underwriting experience and most recently served as senior vice president, head of field for inland marine.

Prior to joining Aspen, he served as underwriting manager, inland marine, at The Hanover Insurance Group. Kattman also held senior underwriting positions at Liberty Mutual Insurance and Zurich Insurance Services.

Kattman said: “I am delighted to assume the role of head of inland marine. The inland marine insurance market continues to evolve dynamically, and alongside our team of experts, we will continue to deliver best-in-class service for our clients.”
