Bermuda-based reinsurer PartnerRe has appointed a new chief executive officer of its high performing life & health segment.
Chris Shanahan (pictured) will succeed Marc Archambault, who is retiring. Shanahan will join PartnerRe’s executive leadership team, effective January 1.
Phillipe Meyenhofer, CEO PartnerRe, said: “Chris’s deep technical expertise, industry knowledge, and collaborative leadership style make him a valuable addition to our leadership team.
“I would like to personally acknowledge and thank Marc for his invaluable contributions and the strong foundation he leaves behind, positioning us well for future growth and as a preferred reinsurance partner to our clients.”
