XL Catlin appoints client distribution leader for LA office

XL Catlin, a Bermuda-based re/insurer, has appointed Steven Zimmerman to its broker and client management team as its client distribution leader. He will be based in Los Angeles.

Zimmerman will report to XL Catlin’s US West regional broker and client management leader, Mike Soper and has over 20 years of both business development and broker experience in the insurance industry.

Prior to Catlin, Zimmerman served as senior vice president of Gallagher Basset Services.
