White Mountains appoints EVP, head of M&A

White Mountains Capital, a subsidiary of Bermuda-based financial services company White Mountains Insurance Group, has appointed Frank Bazos as executive vice president, head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Bazos has 25 years of private equity experience, primarily in the insurance, financial services and healthcare sectors. He has spent around 18 with years Century Equity Partners and has also worked at TA Associates and North Atlantic Capital.

Furthermore, Bazos has served on the boards of Jones DesLauriers Group of Companies, Catalina Holdings, Asset Allocation and Management Company, Santa Rosa Holdings, and PhyNet Dermatology.
