RenRe SVP of underwriting returns to Ireland

Bermudian-headquartered RenaissanceRe (RenRe) has appointed Cathal Carr to the position of senior vice-president, underwriting, and global head of climate and sustainability strategy in Dublin, Ireland. Carr announced his new role on LinkedIn.

Carr has spent 17 years with RenRe—including 13 years in Bermuda. Most recently he was RenRe’s SVP of underwriting, global head of property catastrophe. He began his career at the firm in 2005, as a risk analyst in the Dublin office.
