Q3 earnings soar at Enstar

Enstar Group has reported net earnings of $615 million for the third quarter of 2020, up from $117.7 million for the same period of 2019.

This included net realised and unrealised gains of $500 million for the quarter, including $432.7 million relating to other investments and equities and $67.3 million relating to fixed income securities.

Enstar reported net earnings of $896.7 million for the first nine months of the year, compared to $708.3 million for the same period of 2019, including net realised and unrealised gains of $838.6 million for the period. This included $631.5 million from equities investments and $207.1 million relating to fixed income securities.
