ILS Bermuda chooses Dowling & Partners co-founder as keynote speaker

ILS Bermuda, organisers of Bermuda Convergence 2016 has announced that one of the event’s two keynote speakers will be Vincent Dowling Jr.

Dowling co-founded Dowling & Partners in January 1990 and currently serves as managing partner. He began his career with A.J.B. Zunser and Co. in 1982 as a junior insurance stock analyst. He joined Fox-Pitt Kelton, Ltd. in 1983 and was admitted to the FPK partnership in 1986.

Dowling & Partners Securities is a Hartford based institutional stock brokerage firm specializing in property/casualty insurance and life insurance.
Greg Wojciechowski, chief executive officer at Bermuda Stock Exchange, and ILS Bermuda chairman said: “We are very excited to host V.J. Dowling as our industry Keynote Speaker during the Convergence 2016 event.

“His research and work in the industry spans over 30 years and he is known for his ability to see things from both a macro point of view as well as the detailed fundamentals of our industry. The ILS Bermuda Thought Leadership and Education Work Stream have done an excellent job in securing V.J. Dowling as industry speaker.”

Over 300 delegates are expected to attend this year’s ILS event; last year delegates came from a total of 13 countries.
