Former XL executive joins Admiral board

Former XL Capital senior executive Fiona Muldoon has been made a non-executive director of UK insurer Admiral Group.

Muldoon spent 17 years at XL – now AXA XL – in Dublin and Bermuda, culminating as senior vice president and  group treasurer from 2008 to 2010.

She later served as director of credit institutions and insurance supervision for the Bank of Ireland before joining FBD Insurance where she was CEO from 2015 to 2020.

Muldoon is currently a non-executive director of Beazley plc where she sits on the audit committee and will chair its risk committee.

On joining the Admiral board, Fiona will be appointed to the audit committee.
