Everest renews its vows to sports and entertainment clients in division rebrand

Everest Insurance has rebranded its sports, leisure and entertainment division, formerly known as Specialty Insurance Group (SIG), as EverSports & Entertainment Insurance (EEI).

EEI continues to offer primary and excess liability, commercial automobile, workers’ compensation, property, contingency and participant accident coverage to clients in the sports, leisure and entertainment space.

The rebrand is intended to align EEI’s corporate identity with its insurance appetite and market position, backed by the financial strength of its parent company, Everest Re Group.

David Nikolai, head of EII, called the refreshed brand “a major milestone” for Everest, and an opportunity to reaffirm its role in the industry.

Considering the volatility we’ve seen in this past year; we want to remind our clients and brokers that we are here for the long-haul,” he said. “This new brand perfectly encapsulates our commitment to long-term relationships with our clients in this industry segment, our ambition to expand our footprint in the marketplace, and our role as a member company of Everest.”
