Everest Re appoints head of Investor Relations

Everest Re Group has appointed Matthew Rohrmann (pictured) as senior vice president, head of Investor Relations. He succeeds Jon Levenson and will report to Everest executive vice president & CFO Mark Kociancic.

Rohrmann will be focused on deepening Everest’s engagement with the financial community, strategic planning and market analysis, and will also be responsible for ratings agency interactions.

Rohrmann joins Everest after having held senior investor relations roles within the re/insurance industry. Most recently, he was global head of Investor Relations at AXIS Capital and, prior to that, director of Investor Relations at AIG and Willis Towers Watson. He began his career as a financial analyst in equity research for Nomura Securities and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods.
