Everest Re appoints former Marsh US MD

Everest Insurance, a subsidiary of Bermuda-based re/insurer Everest Re Group, has appointed Matt Murray as its regional leader, marketing and distribution for the east region.

Murray will be based in Everest Re’s New York office and has over 25 years of experience working at Marsh US, most recently as its managing director (MD) and global risk management client executive.

His career started at Marsh as a risk management and casualty broker before transitioning into a client executive role.
