Everest Re adds to excess casualty team

Bermuda-based Everest Re Group has announced that Andreas Graham has joined its excess casualty team to lead the expansion of the Everest energy portfolio and capabilities, reporting directly to Connie Germano, head of Everest Specialty Casualty.

Grahams will support both the existing energy team led by Tom Morelli with supported excess layers, while also pursuing standalone excess opportunities for insureds within the energy segment.

“With Andreas’ significant experience in the energy space, we are confident we will be able to expand our tailored coverage offerings, thereby helping solve our Energy client’s unique challenges,” said Germano. “Andreas’ background, relationship and knowledge will prove accretive to our already formidable capabilities within the energy space and we are thrilled to have him join the team.”

Graham was previously at Prosight Specialty Insurance where he was responsible for marine and energy. Before that he held roles of increasing responsibility with ACE USA focusing on energy ultimately as the national practice leader for energy and construction. Prior to ACE, Andreas was the regional manager and assistant vice president of AIG Global Energy Excess based in Boston.
