Duperreault to speak at BDA New York Forum
The Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA) has announced that Brian Duperreault, AIG’s chief executive officer, will be the keynote speaker at a multi-industry event in New York.
The one-day Bermuda Executive Forum, hosted by the BDA on May 2, will be officially opened by Bermuda Premier David Burt. It will feature regulatory and industry leaders discussing the advantages offered by the island's global business market. Duperreault will deliver the keynote presentation at the event's luncheon.
The event’s agenda includes 13 sessions, with panels on re/insurance, asset management, high-net-worth services, cyber risk & security, long-term life & annuity solutions, captive insurance, shipping, insurance-linked securities, aviation, fintech, blockchain and cryptocurrencies. A networking reception will close the event in the evening.
“We are thrilled to announce Brian Duperreault as keynote for this event,” said BDA CEO Ross Webber, who worked at ACE in the 1990s with Duperreault as CEO. “Not only does he represent the leadership and world-class talent that distinguishes this market, but he is also an iconic figure in the global insurance industry. Brian has played, and continues to play, a critical role in the successful evolution of the Bermuda market. We look forward to his remarks.”
