Combined Insurance, a Chubb company providing voluntary supplemental accident, disability, health and life insurance products, has appointed Nancy Goodwin as senior vice president and chief underwriting officer.
In addition, Alejandro Benavides has been appointed chief information officer.
Both Goodwin and Benavides report to Joe Vasquez, president at Combined Insurance, and SVP of global accident and health at Chubb Group.
Goodwin leads Combined's individual and group underwriting team, driving the strategy to ensure positive underwriting results, and has more than 30 years of insurance industry, underwriting experience. She began her career at The Paul Revere Corporation, now part of Unum, in underwriting group disability, dental and life insurance. Since then she has held underwriting roles at John Hancock Financial Services and Liberty Mutual. She was most recently vice president of group underwriting at Lincoln Financial.
Benavides leads Combined’s IT organisation and has spent more than six years at Chubb, as regional CIO and leading the integration of the ABA Seguros and Fianzas Monterrey units in Mexico.
