Chubb’s Gunter replaces Hendrick as AXA XL CEO
Scott Gunter, previously senior vice president of Chubb Group and president of Chubb’s North America Commercial Insurance division, has been appointed as the new CEO of AXA XL. He replaces Greg Hendrick, who has departed to pursue opportunities outside the group. These changes will be effective immediately, subject to any required regulatory approval.
Gunter will now join AXA’s management committee, reporting to Thomas Buberl, CEO of AXA. Prior to his last position, Gunter held several global positions within Chubb, including chief underwriting officer.
