BMS Group, the independent specialist re/insurance broker, has appointed David Overton as a director in its Latin America and Caribbean financial lines division.

Overton joins from EmergIn Risk, part of Ryan Specialty Group, where he was head of sales in the Miami office, offering cyber to Latin American and Caribbean clients.

He has 21 years’ experience of placing and underwriting complex risks across a broad spectrum of classes.
