AXIS Re hires Lydia LaSalata and Matthew Trinkle in North American casualty

AXIS Re has hired Lydia LaSalata and Matthew Trinkle to its North American casualty team.

LaSalata joins as a senior underwriter for professional liability, having previously been a vice president in the financial lines treaty team at Safety National Re.

Trinkle takes on the role of underwriter for casualty and alternative risk. He was previously at Transatlantic Re where he was an assistant vice president.

“As we adapt our North America casualty business to the changing market and continue to deepen relationships with our strategic partners, their perspectives will be key,” said Dan Osterrieder, head of casualty for North America at AXIS Re.
