Aspen hires Liberty exec for senior exec role

Aspen Insurance, the insurance segment of Bermuda-based Aspen Insurance Holdings, has appointed Robert Rokicki as senior vice president (SVP), head of onshore energy and construction for the Americas.

Rokicki will report to Tim Kania, global head of energy and construction. He will be based in New York and will focus on driving targeted growth across the Americas.

Rokicki joins Aspen from Liberty International Underwriters (LIU), where he most recently served as SVP in the oil, gas, petrochemical, and chemical business unit, responsible for profitable growth across the US and Latin American portfolios. He has nearly 30 years of experience as both a chemical engineer and underwriter, with previous roles at AIG/Chartis, ACE, and Swiss Re.
