Argo hires Amlin exec as CRO

Bermuda-based Argo has appointed former Amlin executive Alex Hindson as chief risk officer (CRO).

A former CRO of Amlin’s Bermuda and Zurich operations, Hindson has also held a number of key leadership roles in risk management at Amlin, Aon Global Risk Consulting and AstraZeneca.

Jay Bullock, chief financial officer of Argo Group, said: “We are excited to have Alex joining our management team.
