Aon becomes newest member of ABIR
Aon has joined the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR). The re/insurance broker also joins Marsh McLennan/Guy Carpenter, Willis Towers Watson and Lockton Re on ABIR’s Broker Advisory Cabinet, promoting collaboration between Bermuda’s leading re/insurers and brokers to sustain the island’s success, ABIR added.
Aon has had a presence in Bermuda for over 50 years, launching captive and insurance management operations there in 1970. Today, it has over 160 employees based on the island, working across risk management, risk transfer, re/insurance broking, and consultancy products and services.
