EQECAT’s Bermuda head departs for URS

Tim Trainor, the practice leader for risk modelling firm EQECAT’s Bermuda branch, has left the company.

He joins Ultimate Risk Solutions (URS), an independent developer of financial risk analytics, and software solutions for the re/insurance industry, to lead North American business development.

Alex Bushel, URS founder and chief executive officer, said: "Tim brings a broad range of experience in the insurance industry and a keen knowledge of analytical technology. His business acumen and industry knowledge coupled with deep understanding of analytical solutions will make a major contribution to the growth of URS."
