Ascot has appointed Ian Lowe as head of Bermuda property treaty, placing the long-serving executive in charge of the company’s Bermuda property treaty reinsurance platform following the departure of former head Simon Kimberley.
Lowe will report to Marc Amen and will oversee the platform’s continued performance and consistency across the business.
He joined Ascot in 2017 and brings more than 20 years of experience in the property and casualty treaty markets. Prior to Ascot, Lowe held treaty reinsurance leadership roles at Willis Re and Guy Carpenter in London.
Amen said: “Ian is a proven leader within Ascot with a deep understanding of the Bermuda reinsurance market. He brings continuity, extensive experience, and trusted relationships to the role and will continue delivering for our clients in this important segment.”
