Everest has appointed Stephen Buonpane (pictured left) as global head of construction within its global wholesale & specialty business and promoted Danielle Stewart (pictured right) to president of Everest Evolution as it continues to expand its specialty underwriting capabilities.
Reporting to Jason Keen, executive vice president and chief executive officer of Everest Global Wholesale & Specialty, he will lead the insurer's global construction business, overseeing underwriting strategy, market alignment and broker relationships across key markets.
Danielle Stewart (pictured left) has been promoted to president of Everest Evolution, reporting to Lisa Davis, head of North America, wholesale & specialty. She will lead the continued development of the US wholesale platform, with responsibility for underwriting, portfolio management, operations and distribution.
Buonpane was appointed president of Everest Evolution in 2024 and previously led Everest's casualty lines and industry practices business. Before joining Everest, he held senior construction and casualty leadership roles, including executive vice president, construction industry practice leader at Chubb.
Stewart joined Everest in 2022 and became chief operating officer of Everest Evolution in 2024. She previously served as national head of wholesale distribution for Everest Insurance and held leadership roles at Liberty Mutual.
