Arch strengthens construction team with Lumiste

Arch Insurance International, part of Bermuda-based Arch Capital Group, has strengthened its construction team with the appointment of power generation underwriting specialist Kevin Lumiste (pictured).

Lumiste  joins the company as a senior construction underwriter, with immediate effect.

Lumiste will help support the expansion of Arch’s construction portfolio, delivering comprehensive solutions on a global basis for large and complex risks.

Based in London, he reports to Tim Chapman, head of construction.

Lumiste brings more than 25 years of sector experience with underwriting expertise in power generation to the role. Prior to joining Arch, he was a senior underwriter at SCOR and has previously held senior underwriting roles at Zurich Global Corporate and Starstone Insurance.

Chapman said: “Kevin’s appointment enhances our team’s depth and reflects our commitment to investing in top-tier talent. He will be instrumental in strengthening our capabilities, enhancing our delivery to brokers and clients, and driving the continued growth of our construction portfolio.”
