Willis Re hires Guy Carpenter’s Charlie Hall as director

Reinsurance broker Willis Re has appointed Guy Carpenter managing director and non-marine property specialist Charlie Hall (pictured) to its team in a director role, as it continues to build out its reinsurance platform.

According to the broker, Hall is widely regarded for her exceptional client account management and her ability to deliver responsive, high-quality service grounded in strong technical insight.

She joins Willis Re with more than ten years of experience in the non-marine property market. After starting her career at Aon in 2014, she joined Guy Carpenter in 2017 where she progressed from assistant vice president to MD over her eight-year tenure.

In 2022 she relocated from London to Bermuda, building strong client and reinsurer relationships across global marketplaces.

Hall’s experience spans the design and placement of complex property programmes for large global clients, together with thought-leadership contributions that have helped shape market understanding of trends in property retrocession and catastrophe on direct and facultative business.
