Re/insurance industry veteran Andrew Vaucrosson has joined the Bermuda Stock Exchange as head of policy and risk.
Vaucrosson, formerly head of development and operations for the Bermuda Captive Network, joined the BSX this month.
Among his responsibilities at the BSX – the leading exchange for insurance-linked securities – is to manage the risk management framework, assess risks and maintain a risk register. He will also be responsible or identifying risks and drafting policies for new business processes, according to Vaucrosson’s LinkedIn profile.
Prior to helping to establish BCN, Vaucrosson was chief business development officer of Bermuda insurtech Nova, and held numerous roles at Zurich Insurance from 2006 to 2018. His last post there was as risk officer for Zurich’s four companies in Bermuda.
