Resolution Re appoints Bermuda head of HR

Life re/insurer Resolution Re has appointed Tanika Williams as vice president, head of human resources in its Bermuda office. 

Williams, who was previously vice president, human resources at Artex from 2022 to 2024 and was vice president and HR leader at domestic insurer BF&M from 2017 to 2021, took up the role in August. 

She was human resources director at PartnerRe from 2012 to 2017 having started at the re/insurer in 2002. 

According to her LinkedIn page, Williams will be the human resources business partner for Bermuda, "developing a trusted partnership with executive stakeholders, covering all aspects of Resolution Life business in Bermuda". 

Williams saif of her appointment to the Bermuda-based company: "I have the privilege of working with some highly talented individuals and look forward to working with the team to continue to cultivate the high-performance culture and diverse workforce. 

"I am honoured to be the first fully dedicated HR resource in Bermuda and look forward to providing my advice and expertise to management and staff while helping to shape and mould the HR function, delivering the employee value proposition and ensuring a positive employee lifecycle."
